About the Role & Team
As a Programming & Merchandising Supervisor, you will play a key role in shaping the Disney+ experience for audiences across Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. You ensure the right content is available, attractive, and discoverable, so subscribers can easily find it and keep watching. In this role, you’ll be responsible for operational publishing and help shape content tactics, turning insights into curated selections. You work closely with your team and cross-functional partners, both locally and at the EMEA level, to keep the platform engaging, up-to-date and relevant for your local audience. Your work directly supports Disney+’s mission to deliver world-class entertainment and innovative experiences to audiences across the Benelux region.
This role will be based in our Amsterdam office, 4 days a week, with either a Monday or Friday working from home.

What You Will Do
Coordinate and execute operational delivery (content planning, scheduling, and merchandising) using the bespoke Disney tools and CMS.
Contribute tactically to local content strategy, ensuring Disney+ delivers engaging, relevant, and high-quality entertainment in line with global and regional objectives and requirements.
Build and maintain content grids (platform wireframes) for the Benelux Disney+ service, including editorial selections and platform updates.
Ensure the quality and validation of content presentation, including artwork, metadata, technical checks (QC/QA), and translation approvals.
Collaborate with team members on content briefings, stakeholder communications, and project kick-offs.
Analyze viewing behavior data and content performance, applying insights to inform editorial steer and help optimize the programming and merchandising strategy and user experience.
Maintain and optimize overview of upcoming content releases and platform activities for stakeholders.
Implement title prioritization, plan editorial events or collections tailored to the local market, and optimize customer experience and engagement.
Together with the team, act as local subject-matter experts on content programming and merchandising for Benelux and present plans and insights.
Drive process improvements and share best practices within local and wider EMEA Disney+ team
Required Qualifications & Skills
A content enthusiast who regularly watches a diverse range of genres with a minimum of 3 years’ experience (in a similar role is a plus)
Experience in content programming, scheduling, or merchandising (VOD experience is a plus, but not required)
Strong proficiency with digital tools and content management systems (e.g., Excel, Powerpoint, Airtable, Whats’ON)
Proficiency in analyzing viewing data/consumption trends and using insights to inform editorial decision making
Familiarity with Benelux (streaming) market, and local (content) trends
Strong planning and organizational skills; able to work independently and as a team player, with active collaboration in team routines and cross-functional projects
Ability to work to tight deadlines and adapt to changing business demands at short notice
Effective communicator who can explain complex ideas simply and build strong relationships
Professional fluency in English and Dutch
Proactive, creative and solution-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
