Job-Zusammenfassung:

Would you enjoy collaborating closely with operators to create lifelong memories for Guests of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products? Do you love to learn about business models which include live entertainment, thrill rides, hotels, food & beverage, and retail operations? Are you naturally curious about understanding the “why” behind business performance?

As a Senior Financial Analyst on the Disneyland Resort Site Operations Finance team, you would get to analyze metrics and trends to understand business results. You would provide key input on new business models and initiatives, designed to directly improve Guest experiences and drive shareholder value. You would work closely with operations leaders and partners to make a difference.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

You would join a fast-paced finance team dedicated to impacting the Guest experience through strong partnering and creative analysis. Your purview could include theme park attractions, hotel operations, live entertainment, food and beverage, store operations, special events, and asset preservation and development.

Every single day as a Senior Financial Analyst on the Site Operations Finance team is different! On any given day you might:
  • Meet and collaborate with partners in Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure, or at one of the Disneyland Resort Hotels, to review financial results or to make changes to the operation;
  • Develop the financials for a quarterly forecast, an annual operating plan, or a 10-year long term plan;
  • Organize strong written and verbal communication that conveys data and analysis to partners at all levels, including Vice Presidents and Senior Vice Presidents;
  • Develop cases for new business opportunities such as a new fireworks show, a new Food & Beverage location, or a special event such as a Festival or Grad Nite;
  • Feel like an “insider” when you visit a store or watch a new parade, and see Guests purchasing and enjoying a product you worked on; or,
  • Ride your favorite Disneyland Resort attraction during your lunch break!

Erforderliche Qualifikation:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with statistical, financial, or strategic analysis;
  • Knowledge of forecasting and financial modeling, including proficiency in acquiring, organizing, and analyzing large amounts of data;
  • The ability to explain complex analytics in a way that is easily understandable and executable, and enjoy “storytelling” to engage and influence your audience;
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy, and the ability to think holistically;
  • Natural curiosity and inquisitiveness, and enjoy solving problems;
  • The ability to work in a team environment, in person and virtually, with a positive demeanor; and,
  • The capability to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities, and perform job responsibilities accurately with minimal supervision.

Wünschenswerte Qualifikationen:

  • A Master’s degree in a quantitative field or a CPA;
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including VBA and SQL;
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau; and,
  • Knowledge of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products operations, business units, and product offerings.

Required Education

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting, or equivalent substitute.
