Job-Zusammenfassung:

Disney+ is The Walt Disney Company’s new Direct to Consumer video entertainment service. The service consists of long form and short form video built around five key content brands (Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and Fox) with an appealing and easy to use interface accessed across multiple platforms (e.g. televisions, mobile devices, PCs). 

 
The Disney+ team is responsible for the day-to-day operation of Disney+ across Europe, Middle East and Africa, specifically focused on marketing, customer acquisition and retention, partnerships and synergy, content programming, research and analytics.  

 

You will work closely with the local brand marketing teams, content and merchandising teams & Finance with weekly alignment with your peers across EMEA and the EMEA Analytics & Business teams. We are looking for a forward-thinking, commercially minded, analytical professional who likes to take the lead on business improvement, reporting & communicating D+ performance across the company.  

 

The purpose of the role is to ensure we have focus on pockets of growth that add to our targets for sign-ups, budgets, retention and other key DTC metrics, both for the long term and to guide the business on a quarterly, weekly and daily basis. This role will leverage strategic, consumer centric thinking, ability to self-service and pull insights from Disney+ data, bottom-up plans from markets, market intelligence, research and analytics, to synthesize them and define the most appropriate plans for the local DTC business in alignment with EMEA teams and local leadership. 

Areas of Responsibility

  • Report & communicate business performance on a weekly basis on key KPI’s (subs, churn, sign-ups, engagement, content performance etc.) 

  • Work daily with the Greece & Israel Disney+ team to maximize use of best practices across EMEA 

  • Analyze weekly data and identify levers of performance while working closely with all the Disney+ workstreams 

  • Driving weekly and quarterly planning for the market, working closely with all marketing and finance teams 

  • Leading development of Disney+ annual strategy and planning, leveraging market and competitor insights, learnings from D+ research and past performance 

  • Provides Leaders with a clear view of Disney+ performances in Greece & Israel vs our forecast (weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual) 

  • Drive local action plans to boost or mitigate subscriber performance 

  • Consolidate the reporting of our commercial performances, present and provide rationales and context to the broader Disney+ EMEA teams 

  • Be the key person for any trading question in Greece & Israel for EMEA team and working closely with the business stakeholders to provide view of key factors influencing the subscriber and platform performance status 

Skills & Competencies Required 

  • Similar experience acquired in digital subscriber businesses is highly preferred. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with the ability to synthesize detailed information into succinct and actionable recommendations in presentations to senior executives. 

  • The ability to work to tight deadlines and adapt to changing business demands at short notice. 

  • High numeracy and analytical ability & rigor 

  • Excellent stakeholder management with experience of dealing with senior level stakeholders in a matrix organization 

  • Strategic mindset 

  • Demonstrated success in influencing cross-functional teams, stakeholders and leadership 

  • Positive, people-oriented, and energetic attitude 

  • Travelling to EMEA HQ (London) and markets needed 

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power Point knowledge is required 

  • BI / Looker desired skills 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
