The Enterprise Sourcing (ES) team has been established to support all the corporate function’s Sourcing & Procurement requirements. In addition, we are responsible for supporting the business Segments in developing and executing Category Management strategies for Marketing & Media, Professional Services, Supply Chain Management, Human Resources, Facility Operation Services, Production/Production Tech, Media Engineering, Design & Construction, and Technology categories.
What Will You Do:
Responsibilities
- In alignment with the overall Category objectives, establish and manage AOP’s with each TWDC Segment with focus on:
- Sub-category plans
- Spend Influenced
- Communication
- Value generation/Savings/ROI
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of the 3-5 sub-category plans in alignment with the Segment 5-year strategic Planning process and delivering against the targets set jointly by ES and the business segments. You will also lead large projects/RFP’s/Pitches from source to contract.
- Together with the Director, Enterprise Sourcing, Corporate Services, develop annual operating plans (AOP) for the General Services team and delivering against the targets set jointly by ES and the business segments. You will also develop and implement tools to allow rigorous cost and market analysis to be completed by the Sourcing professionals.
- You will ensure consistent application of procurement processes across constituent groups and develop, implement, monitor, and report performance measures that demonstrate value and ensure supplier performance.
- Build and maintain relationships with key Segment/Functional executives to ensure full understanding and support for sourcing & procurement initiatives – becoming a trusted advisor.
- Track, and report savings, spending compliance and variances: communicate results with the Director, Enterprise Sourcing, and selected stakeholders.
- Perform supplier performance reviews and supplier compliance audits in conjunction with the business as appropriate.
- Provide leadership, direction, and management to the General Services sourcing team. And build/establish strategic relationships with key suppliers.
- Serve as a business partner to Segment/Functional key stakeholders by identifying their critical business requirements and providing procurement services to meet/exceed their expectations.
- Provide rigorous cost and market analysis following the models established by Strategic Sourcing focusing on the total cost of ownership.
- Prepare for and execute clear, structured negotiations following the Strategic Sourcing process.
- Identify, develop and deploy best practice supplier management, procurement and Category management practices and drive internal skill/capability development to broaden and build staff skill sets.
- Manage 6 direct reports that support the General Services sourcing category and demonstrate exemplary integrity and ethics in all instances.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 10 or more years of progressive experience in Sourcing & Procurement or equivalent experience
- 5 or more years’ leadership experience in a strategic sourcing and procurement environment or equivalent experience
- Executive presence, presentation, and engagement and experience in leading & managing multi-cultural, geographically dispersed teams.
- Demonstrated capability to build/sustain high performance teams and outstanding communication skills
- Ability to work strategically and develop strong business cases for change and exceed the demands of various internal stakeholders across multiple business units and regions.
- 3 or more years Category Management Experience developing and implementing category plans for General Services Categories using a framework that includes: analysis, strategy, implementation, measurement, and proven experience in creating category strategies.
- Detailed and structured cost/financial analysis experience and strong negotiation skills with an ability to influence clients at all levels in the organization.
- Basic knowledge of technology as an enabler to driver value across various services
- Willingness to travel (position may require up to 10% travel)
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Internal/external business consulting experience desired
- Experience in Media, Entertainment, or Streaming companies
- Experience in Sourcing Media Engineering or Technology Services in a Media & Entertainment or Consulting environment
- In depth knowledge of and relevant experience in category management
- MBA or master’s degree in another quantitative discipline
