Manager, Business Integration & Communications

Job-Zusammenfassung:

The Manager of Business Integrations and Communications will hold a key position in shaping and implementing project integration strategies to achieve overarching business objectives across Commercial Strategy functional teams supporting Disney Cruise Line, Adventures by Disney and National Geographic Expeditions. 

You will cultivate a team of leaders responsible for the integration and communication of projects, operational changes and process improvements across all three lines of businesses.  Your leadership will provide oversight and alignment for Customer & Trade Experience departmental project prioritization by bringing forth emerging opportunities and collaborating on solutions for competing priorities. Through innovation and collaboration, you will drive project integration strategies forward in a dynamic environment.

The Manager, Business Integration & Communications will report to the Senior Manager Business Integration & Communications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a team of leaders who are responsible for the integration and communication of projects, operational changes and process improvements across Commercial Strategy functional teams, for Disney Cruise Line, Adventures by Disney and National Geographic Expeditions.

• Oversee the development and implementation of project integration strategies based on project scope, standards, specifications and schedule to support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and partners.

• Monitor project performance against established timelines, ensuring the integration leaders present project status reports regularly and correct variances and/or inefficiencies while managing against scope creep.

• Responds to escalated project issues that may impede project delivery and coordinates solutions.

• Oversees governance of project integration standards and identify opportunities for continued growth for effective project delivery.

• Strategic partner who liaises with operational leaders and partners ensuring synchronization with company objectives.

• Lead the cultivation of internal and external business relationships to innovate and implement strategies, enhancing project integration efficiency and effectiveness.

• Oversee the utilization of project integration calendar to sequence and align messaging, ensuring a cohesive and strategic approach supporting product launches and business initiatives.

• Measure and analyze the effectiveness of project integration initiatives to refine strategies and optimize engagement across channels.

• Foster the growth and effectiveness of the project integration team to ensure exceptional performance.

• Ensures team compliance with all required training and adherence to PCI and RIM requirements.

• Manage training plans for onboarding new team members.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years in demonstrated experience in project management, business analysis or operational technology strategies and integrating into operations

• 5+ years leading and managing a team

• Ability to analyze and synthesize large amount of data into significant points, draw conclusions, and present recommendations to a variety of audiences

• Ability to translate project vision into actionable plans that achieve the outcomes

• Ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders and proven ability to influence at multiple levels in the organization.

• Proficient presentation skills

• Demonstrated leadership skills and a high-level of business acumen

• Demonstrated decision making skills based on a mixture of analytics, experience, and judgment

• Must be intellectually curious and inquisitive, with the ability to explore, question, and challenge business and operational norms

• Experience providing direct and actionable feedback to address difficult issues and situations while maintaining positive working relationships.

• Ability to provide guidance and direction to direct reports, including setting performance standards, monitoring performance and lead through change.

• Demonstrated strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

• Must work well in a fast-paced business and display professionalism and confidence in complex situations.

• Ability to adapt and positively respond to evolving technologies, processes, and alternative work methods.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Proficiency in Smartsheet, Microsoft Projects or similar project management systems as well as Microsoft Office suite.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a project management or business-related field.

Desired Qualifications:

• Preferred Certification in a project management methodology such as SCRUM, PMP, or Six Sigma

• Extensive knowledge with Disney Cruise Line, Adventures by Disney or National Geographic Expeditions

• Previous travel and/or hospitality industry experience
