As the New Experience Portfolio & Disney Signature Experiences (DSE) organization undergoes significant growth, we are in search of a results-driven professional to lead our Quality Process & Continuous Improvement program. This role will focus on collaborating with various departments and businesses to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and drive operational excellence in support of our rapid expansion. Your pivotal role will contribute to performance enhancement, operational streamlining, and the strategic elevation of our competitive advantage.
This position is located in Orlando, Florida.
This position reports to Amanda Sweet
You Will:
Lead process improvement projects including integration and task management.
Manage the Quality & Process Program systems, data & reporting supporting all DSE businesses.
Spearhead and oversee productivity initiatives across designated client groups, working closely with key partners to pinpoint areas for improvement.
Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering a culture of quality processes within client groups.
Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing business processes, systems, and workflows to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with clients to identify requirements, develop role-specific content guides, and design delivery processes and systems.
Document, communicate, and lead changes to ensure consistent practices and compliance.
Implement Key Performance Indicators to monitor and analyze performance and/or experience and identify areas for improvement, implement corrective actions, and ensure the changes made are effective.
Regularly produce reporting/dashboards for all levels of organizational leadership that measure Program / Project performance
Monitor and report on productivity metrics, providing regular updates to clients, key stakeholders, and the Quality & Process Improvement Team.
Identify meaningful insights from large data and metadata sources; interpreting and communicating insights and findings from analysis
Responsible for work with software tools and platforms (e.g. Smartsheet, Microsoft 365, basic Tableau, PowerBI) where data is stored, organized and manipulated to produce charts, tables, or graphs to display data
Regularly explore approved software tools and evaluate their application to the Quality & Process Program, its clients, and the DSE Organization.
Conduct regular internal and process audits to ensure successful delivery, ongoing compliance, and future-proofing for new initiatives.
Drive initiatives within client groups to reduce rework, optimize efforts, and improve overall productivity and efficiency.
Identify, analyze, and address business process issues and challenges within each business area, implementing corrective and preventative proposals for continuous improvement.
Employ in-depth problem-solving to drive transformation and optimization through information gathering, conceptual problem-solving, resource coordination, and results delivery in ambitious situations.
Occasional travel may be required.
You Will Have:
Minimum of 5 years of product data management, project management, or related work experience.
Proficiency in project management principles to plan and implement improvement processes effectively.
Experience in conducting internal and external process assessments to initiate continuous improvement.
Experience using root cause analysis techniques to address quality process issues.
Strong experience with Smartsheet, PowerBI platforms.
Ability to drive corrective and preventive actions.
Skill in cultivating relationships to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive critical initiatives.
Ability to serve in a critical influence and integration role across multiple business units.
Strong comprehension of continuous improvement principles and their application in existing processes.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex thoughts into actionable recommendations.
Experience working closely with technology, design, project management, and business teams.
Shown analytical and quantitative skills with an ability to use hard data and metrics to form assumptions and develop cases.
Ability to influence people over whom you do not have direct authority.
Ability to present and debate recommendations with executive leadership credibly and compellingly.
Required Education:
BA/BS degree in Business/Operations Management/Data Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Education:
Master’s Degree or Project Management certification.
Lean Six Sigma/ISO 9000 Certification/Quality Management Certification/ Scrum Master or Scrum Product Owner certification
