About the Role & Program
This role supports both the Travel Industry and Central Florida Sales teams, with a primary focus on Central Florida Sales. The team’s mission is to drive ticket sales throughout Central Florida’s tourist corridors by increasing the visibility and accessibility of Disney ticket products. We work collaboratively with internal partners, including Marketing and Disney Planning Centers, and external clients such as timeshare properties, guest service desks, Good Neighbor Hotels, vacation rental homes, and other accommodation affiliates. Together, we strive to deliver the Disney Difference while consistently exceeding client expectations. Our collective efforts contribute to increased ticket sales and help create unforgettable Disney experiences for visitors across Central Florida.
This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Orlando, FL area from January 2026 – June 2026.
What You Will Do
As an intern on this team, you will join a dynamic group of Cast Members committed to delivering impactful, sales-focused communication to our clients. This role centers on building and nurturing positive relationships with frontline ticket sellers and other guest-facing roles throughout the Central Florida market. Through effective collaboration, you will help support Walt Disney World products and initiatives, contributing to their continued success in the region. This internship presents a unique opportunity to be part of a vibrant, high-performing team and play a meaningful role in driving sales growth and enhancing the Disney experience for guests visiting Central Florida. Collaborate cross-functionally to facilitate the endorsement and approval of marketing materials for clients.
Oversee and process client benefit program requests, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment
Cultivate and manage relationships with key clients to promote effective communication and long-term collaboration
Assist a team of Client Service Coordinators responsible for monitoring point-of-purchase displays and marketing initiatives across various locations, including hotels, resorts, vacation ownership properties, and tourist information centers. Escalate issues to appropriate service providers as needed
Deliver on-the-spot product and event training for Central Florida clients to enhance product knowledge and engagement
Generate weekly market activity reports based on internal partner feedback, identifying opportunities to drive ticket sales
Contribute to daily team meetings by preparing and sharing updates on safety, product insights, market trends, and business performance
Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external clients, providing responsive and solution-oriented customer service
Address inquiries related to specific client programs, ensuring accurate and helpful responses
Support the Sales team by maintaining strong relationships with top accounts and assisting with client needs
Assist in coordinating third-party client agreements, including soft incentives, referral programs, comps, and promotions
Participate in the implementation and execution of new and ongoing sales and marketing initiatives
Provide support for ad hoc projects as assigned, contributing to team goals and operational efficiency
Required Qualifications & Skills
Strong verbal and written communication, with a passion for attention to detail and accuracy
Strong analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills while proactively offering ideas and solutions
Strong partnering and relationship skills, while being able to function effectively in a highly collaborative team environment
Proven self-starter while working independently and balancing multiple priorities
Proficient with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Valid Driver’s License and excellent driving record, with the ability to navigate around Central Florida (occasionally involves driving to multiple locations throughout the day to visit clients)
Preferred Qualifications
Current or prior participation in the Disney College Program, current or prior Cast Member and/or solid understanding of Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort
Previous internship or professional work experience in Sales or similar
Education
Junior or Senior year preferred
Major or previous coursework in Sales, Marketing, Business or related field

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization

Program Length: The approximate dates of this internship are January 2026 -June 2026
Fully available to work full time hours (approximately 40 per week) and have a consistent, reliable work schedule for the duration of the internship
Transportation: Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Orlando, Florida area

The pay rate for this role in Orlando, Florida is $22.50 per hour.
