Content Platforms & Operations is responsible for the development and ongoing advancement of the technical and operational functions driving the worldwide distribution and monetization of Disney’s linear networks and theatrical content. This includes Disney’s media supply chain and storage, network and theatrical distribution operations, media localization, network transmission and origination, and more. The global team also plays a critical role as the primary collaboration point for Product & Technology with Disney’s EMEA, APAC, and LATAM regional business teams.
The TV Mastering team within Content Platforms & Operations is responsible for mastering titles produced by Disney Channels, ABC Signature, 20th Television, FX Productions, ABC News and other production entities. The Distribution Operations Mastering Coordinator will assist in master material asset prep and quality control to ensure the on-time and right the first-time delivery of current slate episodic series and specials to Disney Streaming Services and our global archive.
Job Summary:
- The role will oversee the inbound delivery process of episodic, TV Specials, shortform, and non-theatrical movies from production into DMED inventory and onto localization and servicing teams.
- The role should have standard understanding of production, post production, digital delivery and media servicing processes.
- Some of the key day-to-day tasks will include inventory set up, setting up orders in our order management tool, coordinating receipt of source assets between post production and mastering vendors, communicating delivery ETAs to territory offices/teams, customers, clients, external vendors and internal business ops team, dealing with rejections, establishing a process SLA (Service Level Agreement), and managing vendor & supplier performance metrics.
- Assist in documenting procedures and identifying gaps in documentation for established procedures.
- Have a passion for television content and curiosity about how the supply chain works between production, manufacturing, and localization.
- Work under general supervision of Managers, Sr. Managers and Director.
- Performs routine/structured tasks in the entry level
- The role will perform various analytical and administrative tasks across all brand verticals, systems, and tools.

Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:
Required degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain or equivalent experience
Preferred qualifications:
Film/Television knowledge and/or supply chain expertise, knowledge of Disney brands and values, proficiency in Microsoft suite, proficiency in Google suite, exemplary data analysis and Excel proficiency, ability to be adaptive and effective, with the ability to learn new systems, technology, and functions rapidly, strong communication skills, self-disciplined, strong emotional intelligence
The hiring range for this position in California is $58,700 to $78,600 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
