Our Executive Support Professionals are highly respected because their skills are quite simply, essential. You would be a key member of a dynamic, fast-paced team that develops the innovative ride platforms for Disney's theme parks, attractions, and cruise ships worldwide.
You will report to the Ride Engineering Studio Executive.
This is an On-Site Full-Time role based in Glendale, CA. Please note that relocation will not be available.
What You Will Do:
There will always be expense reports, travel planning, endless calendar management, but this job is very much about people. The relationship you form with the executives you support is critical because that is what enables you to become a true partner. In addition to understanding your executive’s business and business needs, you will also need to develop a deep knowledge of the leadership and workings of WDI and of related departments across the Disney enterprise. Every day as an Executive Support Professional is different! On any given day you might:
Collaborate with colleagues across TWDC and Imagineering
Manage a busy calendar on behalf of the executives you support.
Review your leader’s schedule to build-in time for things like focus time and traveling to their next meeting.
Create global, multi-city travel itineraries, considering time zones, weather delays, traffic, and fatigue levels.
Schedule conference rooms, meetings, and video chats.
Assist other Ride Engineering members with various administrative, departmental and office needs.
Interface directly with other senior executives and their support teams.
Manage very confidential, sensitive information.
Draft emails on behalf of your leaders, prep meeting/presentation materials.
Assist with on-boarding new employees.
Manage large purchase orders and vendor set up.
Greet and assist visitors for work sessions and special events – including senior executives, strategic partners, and high-profile VIPs – maintaining a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
Assist as needed with coordination, both on-site and off-site, of workshops, team events, and demos, including internal and external partners, vendors, and collaborators (agendas, catering, travel coordination, and day-of event management).
Required Qualifications & Skills:
At least 5 years administrative experience supporting executives in a corporate environment.
Sharp written and verbal communication skills, including flawless grammar and a rich vocabulary.
Desire to immerse yourself fully and learn all aspects of your executive’s business.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize deadlines/deliverables.
Strong proficiency with all types of computers, phones, and office equipment, as well as mastery of Microsoft Office programs, SAP, Concur, and working in a Windows environment.
Resourceful, proactive, self-directed, solution oriented.
Skills to build bridges, work relationships and encourage people to want to collaborate with you.
Complete reliability handling confidential, often extremely sensitive information.
Desire to be helpful to your leaders and co-workers, to go the extra mile without being asked.
Some flexibility in your schedule – we value work/life balance but help if travel support is needed out of office hours while executives are traveling.
Strong organizational skills and extreme attention to detail.
A highly professional demeanor, positive outlook, a can-do attitude and discretion.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
Experience within the Walt Disney Company or in a dynamic, fast paced and demanding environment
Experience managing media files including asset organization, resizing, watermarking, and large-file exchange
Experience working with Technical teams and executives
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $65,300 to $87,500 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The number of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay offered will consider internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the level and position offered.
