What You Will Do

As a Program Manager within the Disney+ Business Program Management team, you'll lead the execution of strategic initiatives across multiple divisions. Your goal is to design efficient, scalable, and extensible launch plans while ensuring sustainable ongoing operations. Your exceptional analytical skills, strong business acumen, and ability to manage multiple priorities will be crucial in achieving our business objectives.

Key Collaboration

You will work closely with the Disney Entertainment group, including teams across Technology, Content, Marketing, and various international business divisions. Reporting to LPMO Program leaders, you'll coordinate the delivery of work across multiple functional streams, divisions, and launch initiatives—spanning geographic markets, strategic partnerships, campaigns, and major product features. Additionally, you'll define key performance metrics to monitor project health and report insights to senior stakeholders, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.

  • Risk Management: Identify and address operational risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions, driving resolution or escalations when necessary.

  • Stakeholder Management: Establish effective communication channels to manage stakeholder expectations, align priorities, and build strong working relationships across teams. Strong leadership and influence abilities, with the capacity to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.

  • Independence: Perform many responsibilities independently and with oversight from LPMO leaders.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a complex, matrixed environment.

  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen with the ability to react quickly and proactively plan to meet project needs.

  • Disney: Deep affinity with Disney content, brands, and IP, along with familiarity with the content production and distribution process.

  • Growth Potential: Recognized as having high growth potential.

  • Process Improvement: Experience in delivering business improvement through process re-engineering.

  • People Management: Excellent people management skills, including the ability to influence a wide range of audiences.

  • Program Management: Understanding of program management processes and methodologies for governance and tracking.

  • Professional Commitment: Commitment to the project management profession through continuing education, up-to-date certifications, and ongoing progress in the field.

  • Technical Literacy: Basic technical literacy and the ability to apply qualitative and quantitative data in decision-making.

  • Certifications: One or more recognized current project management certifications (IAMP, PMP, MPM, CSM, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications
