Custodial Inventory Control Clerk

Within this role you will help maintain records of materials in inventory and on order. Monitor reorder points and take action to replenish stock as needed. Reconcile discrepancies in inventory and notify the supervisor of any irregularities. You will report into the Proprietor.

Responsibilities/You will:

• Monitor and maintain current inventory levels; process purchase orders as required; track orders and investigate any issues.

• Record purchases, maintain inventory database, perform physical inventory counts, and reconcile actual stock counts with computer-generated reports.

• Receive, unpack, and deliver goods; restock items as necessary; label shelves.

• Process and/or approve invoices for payment.

• Process and document return-to-vendor issues as required, following established procedures.

• Perform routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones, and assisting cast members and leaders.

• May lead, guide, and train cast members performing related tasks.

• Research new products and technologies that may improve productivity and efficiency within the department.

• Review warehouse inventory using a combination of protocols, including the Warehouse Management System and physical counts.

• Verify accuracy of data in the Warehouse Management System against intake and output records, investigate, and resolve any discrepancies, and inform management of findings.

• Utilize various material-handling equipment to perform physical counts and cycle counts as required, including routine audits or to resolve issues.

• Investigate and resolve all chargebacks and advise management of resolutions.

• Collaborate to problem-solve and recommend solutions.

• Assist in the preparation of inventory and other related reports.

• Resolve concerns or escalate as required.

• Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships within the team and across departments.

• Perform both cycle and physical inventory counts.

• Troubleshoot and resolve system- or operator-related inventory discrepancies.

• Perform inventory adjustments and update the database accordingly.

• Analyze and troubleshoot inventory control issues promptly.

• Process purchase orders in a timely manner and follow up on pending orders.

• Prioritize and complete daily tasks assigned by the leader.

• Respond to inquiries regarding products and inventory.

• Provide direction and assistance to colleagues as needed.

Basic Qualifications/You will have:

• Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and services ordering, as well as inventory control.

• Ability to reconcile stock counts with report data.

• Strong database management skills.

• Ability to analyze and solve problems efficiently.

• Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.

• Ability to receive, stock, and deliver goods as needed.

• Proficient in clerical tasks, word processing, and office skills.

• Knowledge of SAP, COUPA and other purchase order, order processing, and invoicing systems.

• Initiating action to replenish stock by processing purchase orders and related paperwork.

• Experience receiving, unpacking, and delivering items to shelves or requesting departments.

• Inspecting shipments for accuracy and completeness and resolving any inconsistencies.

• The position requires considerable physical activity and may involve handling objects weighing up to 65 lbs. Work is typically performed in an interior environment.
