5-day week at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort:
When operational and business needs allow, our full time Cast Members / employees will be scheduled two days off per week.
Ensure HKDL Operational Costumes are produced to a high standard, managing the technical aspects from design to mass production. Create technical specifications, oversee sample fittings, ensure quality control, and communicate with Operational Costumers, vendors, and factories to maintain fit, quality, and budget standards. Develop costume building solutions for special circumstances. Support the Workroom managers on enhancing overall technical skills of the seamstresses.
Verantwortlichkeiten:
- Costume development and technical specifications: Develop and maintain fit standards, create digital patterns, and produce detailed production instructions/tech pack
- Communication and liaison: Serve as the technical link between internal teams (Operational Costumers) and external manufacturers, ensuring clear communication
- Quality assurance: Oversee the quality of garments during production, analyze costume returns and faults, and ensure materials and manufacturing methods meet corporate standards.
- Technical support: Advise on suitable fabrics and design modifications and ensure costumes can be produced within budget
- Supplier management: Work with vendors to ensure timely delivery of correct materials and build good business relationships
Erforderliche Qualifikation:
- 5+ experience in garment manufacturing
- Certificate/Diploma in related discipline. Bachelor's Degree holder is an advantage
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively coordinate with various teams and stakeholders
- Proficient in both verbal and written Chinese and English
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook). Experience in SAP or UKG Workforce is a plus
