This position is a permanent position where it is required to work 4 days a week at the office with one day working from home.
About the role
The Disney Music Group (DMG) EMEA Production & Operations team handles the creative, technical, and operational side of localized music and storyteller productions across the region.
You’ll work closely with the DMG team in Madrid, London, and Burbank to ensure production deadlines are met efficiently and processes run smoothly with our different partners.
The team focuses on keeping production running smoothly, maintaining high creative standards, and making sure all localized music projects meet Disney’s global quality expectations.
All employees in the department are expected to understand and be capable of performing the core tasks of their colleagues, promoting collaboration, flexibility, and smooth workflow across all operations
What will you do
- Support the Production & Operations team in producing and delivering localized Soundtracks across 19 languages.
- Support the creation and delivery of Storyteller productions ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Coordinate with local DCVI teams on dubbing, lyric adaptation, and localization workflows.
- Provide administrative and operational support for Soundtrack and Storyteller deliveries, documentation, and archiving.
- Maintain, update, and archive production assets, ensuring accuracy, organization, and compliance with Disney and UMG delivery requirements.
- Coordinate and assist in the creation and localization of artwork and packaging for digital, CD, and vinyl releases.
- Assist in planning and monitoring production stages through DMG’s global scheduling system and internal resources.
- Contribute to workflow improvements to increase efficiency and stay up-to-date with modern production technologies and practices.
What will you bring
- Strong experience in music and storyteller production, localization, or related operational fields.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with metadata, its importance, and relevant criteria.
- Experience working on projects in multiple languages.
- Fluent in English.
- Proactive, flexible, and comfortable collaborating across time zones, particularly with teams in Burbank and the UK.
- Enthusiastic about music and delivering high-quality localized Disney content for global audiences.
What you need to know
- You will be part of a highly collaborative, international team, coordinating with Universal Music Group (UMG) and multiple Disney divisions to support music and storyteller productions in over 19 languages.
- The role focuses on supervising operational workflows, supporting production processes, and ensuring cross-functional tasks meet Disney’s global quality standards.
- Collaboration with teams based in California (PST) requires flexibility to work across time zones, with occasional travel to the United States for planning and alignment sessions.
- Flexibility, attention to detail, effective communication, and enthusiasm for Disney’s music are key to success in this role.
