The NG Wild French speaking territories Programming Coordinator reports to the National Geographic Programming and Content Director and will be based at the Madrid Office.
The employee will be working at the NG Wild Europe team and will be looking after the French Speaking territories.
This person will be looking after the NG Wild Programming & Media planning for the French Speaking territories.
This position is a FTC contract for 6 months.
What will you do :
- Report to the National Geographic Programming and content Director
- Collaborate with the NG Wild Programming team in order to achieve the deadlines
- Screen the upcoming programs
- Collaborate with the local and international teams (Madrid & London)
- Work with the French team in order to ask NG Wild Premiere hours
- Enter the monthly TX dates in VPS and WON
- Compile all original and localization synopsis and titles and introduce into the system
- Review the NG Wild PEU schedule and change the content without rights available for the French speaking territories
- Remove premieres without localization for the French speaking territories
- Create & release monthly schedules & highlights.
- Make the programming presentation and send it to internal and external contacts
- Creation and delivery of the daily play out logs (schedules/playlists) for the channel through WON (What’s On).
- Approval of promo campaigns through Mediator to double-check all on-air elements are delivered on time and as per plan to assure there are no mistakes on key messaging based on Promo ML delivered by UK Team.
- Provides any transmission reports (asrun, EPGs, promo rotations…) when required.
- Coordinates with operations, technical and regional team (TX team, operations, graphics team, creative services...) to assure a smooth broadcast/delivery of the channel.
Required Qualifications & Skills :
- Must
- speak French.
- Experience on programing and/or media planning/presentation scheduling.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to spot and solve problems.
- Communicates effectively with team members to ensure successful delivery of schedules in line with department requirements and timings.
- Factual TV genre expertise / knowledge is a Plus.
- WON (What’s On) Broadcasting software experience is a Plus.
