*This role requires you to be based in our Milan office 4 days per week*
The principal responsibility of the Digital Sales Supervisor is to sell advertising for Disney+ and other media (such as YouTube and Meta) directly to clients or via media agencies. This person will be tasked with maximising revenue for Clients/Agencies assigned, with a focus on a selection of media agencies, whilst creating excellent, long-term relationships, driving new revenue streams.
This is a sales position within the Italy Sales team, reporting to a Digital sales manager. This person is expected to work closely with their line manager to develop and implement sales strategy for their client patch.
We are looking for a 2/3 years experienced Sales Account on digital media/video advertising.
Areas of Responsibility
Reaching and exceeding monthly and quarterly targets as agreed with line manager
Providing sales forecast on a monthly/quarterly basis
Developing excellent agency relationships
Proactive selling event packages and brief driven multi-platform content ideas
Keeping updated all sales systems & tools forecasting with reports to line manager
· Understand and be able to present Disney media products, targeting options, ad policies and special packages
Always looking for new sales opportunities (e.g. new clients / new agencies).
Organisation of Event/Roadshows/hospitality for Media Agencies/clients; coordinating with the other Sales Managers and the Line Manager
Working closely with the Client Services team to build, sell and implement media plans
Working closely with the content promotions team to successfully integrate the Disney advertising proposition within wider partnership opportunities
Understand key market trends and how these can influence our sales approach
Leading the pre-to-post-sale campaign execution workflow from the media plan creation and presentation to the reporting
Keeping updated all sales systems & tools (CRM/OMS)
Work closely with Ad operation/finance and administrative teams to optimise workflow
Developing, keeping updated and presenting Disney media presentations documents to clients and media agencies
Experience and Professional Qualifications Required
Experience in selling advertising across online and offline is critical
Experience in dealing with major advertising agencies
The ability to deliver cross-media Italy creative solutions to win advertising business in a highly competitive marketplace
Ability to sell media solutions (over and above advertising campaigns)
Skills Required
Strong Power Point skills
Strong Excel skills
Liaison with marketing team and editorial where vital
Excellent standard of written English for business proposals
Significant and proven experience of advertising sales
Knowledge of CTV and Digital advertising market
