How will you contribute to our magical experience?: 

Disney is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to lead its sports marketing operation in Brazil, with direct responsibility for the ESPN brand and the promotion of sports within Disney+. This leader will play a pivotal role in strengthening Disney+’s presence in the sports universe, connecting ESPN’s power to new digital audiences, and driving engagement with fans across multiple platforms.

The Sr. Manager, Marketing Sports will be responsible for: 

  • Lead the brand strategy and marketing positioning for ESPN and sports content on Disney+, crafting strategies that resonate with sports fans and support overall business goals.
  • Develop and execute 360° integrated campaigns across TV, digital, social, PR, partnerships, and live activations, with a strong data-driven mindset.
  • Drive growth initiatives for user acquisition, engagement & upselling in a direct-to-consumer (DTC) environment.
  • Oversee relationships with agencies, strategic partners and collaborate cross-functionally to align marketing efforts with broader business initiatives and ensure consistent messaging & impact.
  • Manage marketing budgets, ensuring efficiency, ROI, and focus on impactful metrics.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and new ways to connect with more diverse audiences through sports.
  • Act as brand guardian for ESPN in Brazil, ensuring consistency in identity and storytelling adapted to the local market.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data insights into actionable marketing strategies. Interpret data and results to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, supporting strategic business decisions & contributing insights to the development of new seasons and upcoming titles.

What we need from you to be part of this story:

  • 6-7+ years of experience in similar roles.
  • Advanced level of English. Intermediate level of Spanish (plus).
  • Solid experience in marketing leadership roles at major companies, with a strong focus on digital platforms and subscription services.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field is required. A postgraduate degree (MBA or equivalent) in Strategic Marketing, Digital Transformation, or Business Management is highly desirable
  •   Proven track record in brand building and growth marketing using data-driven strategies.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, delivering excellence at speed.
  • Experience managing teams, agencies, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of digital ecosystems, performance media, CRM, social media, and branded content.
  • Growth Mindset: curiosity, resilience, future-oriented vision, and continuous learning.
