As Chef De Rang in Remy , you will provide outstanding guest service and create a dining experience like no other. This French-inspired luxury restaurant serves gastronomic cuisine crafted by best-in-class Michelin star chefs.
You will report to the Maître d 'Hotel
Verantwortlichkeiten:
How You Will Make a Difference
- Detailed menu description to guests, take orders and then set table for each course
- Coordinate service and ensure accurate timing and delivery of food to the proper table and guest
- Lead all aspects of all side work and other tasks assigned by Management
- Use computer work station (Micros system)
- Coordinate the ordering, pick-up and delivery of all food and beverage to work station and to Guests
- Partner with Demi Chef de Rang to provide a flawless experience to the Guests
- Understand food safety programs and maintain USPH (United States Public Health) sanitation and cleanliness standards throughout work area
- Practice up-selling and suggestive selling techniques
- Follow all responsible vendor procedures for alcohol service
- Bid fond farewell to all guests and ensure they enjoyed their dining experience
Erforderliche Qualifikation:
What You Will Bring to the Team
- Minimum one year (two years recommended) recent experience in the service industry in a high-level fine dining restaurant setting
- Experience in Michelin Star restaurant
- Good knowledge of international wines and cocktail recipes, and brands of alcohol
- Confident in speaking to well-traveled guests

This is a SHIPBOARD role.
You must:
- Be genuinely interested in a career at sea and willing to live and work onboard a Disney Cruise Line vessel
- Be willing to follow and perform safety role, emergency responsibilities, and associated responsibilities as specified in the ship Assembly Plan
- Be willing to uphold the general safety management responsibilities as specified in the Safety Management System in areas and operations under their control
- If applicable, be willing to share a confined cabin with other crew members and appreciative of working and living in a multicultural environment that has strict rules and regulations
- Have a valid passport and C1/D Seaman's visa (DCL will provide you with documents to obtain this)
- Complete a pre-employment medical
- Obtain a criminal background check
- Bring approved work shoes
